Center for Creativity: The Workshop

About the Center

The Center for Creativity: The Workshop is a space where all members of the University community are invited to drop in to ‘make stuff’ – including connections. Amateurs welcome.

  • Programs

Guided programs—led by people with a particular skill or passion in a "maker" area—will be scheduled in The Workshop periodically. Events will also be held here to showcase Pitt's creative force. Stay tuned!

  • Studio

The heart of the Workshop is an open "maker space." With a Pitt ID, members of the University community are invited here to exercise their creative spirit and muscles. The Workshop provides large walls for writing, diagramming, or chalking; clay for shaping; tables and chairs for challenging conversations or quiet wordsmithing; paint; musical instruments; fabric and yarn; and more.

  • QOTD

The Center for Creativity's QOTD (Question of the Day) is your creative self's morning cup of joe. Let the question percolate, or let it energize you to make something from it. You can get the QOTD by following @PittC4C on Twitter or by subscribing (e-mail or text) to the Center's feed on Pitt's NotifyU system.
